Supporting material glass lantern slide from Nubia Sudan dated AD 1900s

Lantern Slide with black and white photograph showing an assembly of Egyptian people outside a building. The buildings seems to be of either accomodating, communal or commercial character, as one entrance could either be a stall or the entrance to a home with washing hanging in the open. The building is roofed with a large sloping roof providing additional shade for a terrace just outside it, and resting on some pillars.Twelve people are assembled, all male except for one young girl, and every person is dressed in traditional Egyptian costume. The purpose of the assembly is not certain, neither is the location.
