Lantern Slide with black and white photograph of a so-called ‘Colossus of Memnon’. One of two colossal statues of Amenhotep III, originally standing in front of the (now gone) pylon of this king’s mortuary temple on the western bank of Thebes.
A number of people, some of which are wearing traditional Egyptian clothing and one or two in European clothing, riding an animal (?) appear next to the statue.
The photograph is taken frontal.
