Ancient Egyptian coffin of Tjenkhaykhetes from Deir el Bahari Thebes dated 747 – 656 BC

Wooden anthropoid coffin (base and lid) of nb(t) pr Tnh3y-ht.s m3’hrw / (sometimes translated in the past as the lady Takhays-Sekhmet). Base undecorated on exterior, but on bottom of interior has painted full-length figure of the goddess Nut wearing long dress, breasts bared, wig, collar, armlets and anklets. Lid decorated on exterior, plastered and painted with face, wig and fillet, floral collar, rising sun on head, one vertical line of inscription.

There is a copper printing plate of the coffin – 2012.45.5.
