Ancient Egyptian inscribed red quartzite fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Red quartzite fragment with hieroglyphs in sunk relief. Part of two columns of text, split by an incised band. Surface is very worn, and no traces remain of an underlying inscription.

The translations are left column ‘..his beloved..’ and right column ‘..of his body..’.
