Ancient Egyptian model cradle from Deir el Bahari Thebes dated 1550 – 1295 BC

A model cradle or rocker with semicircular solid wood sides joined by seven wooden spars fitted into the sides. A model version of a cradle used to move blocks of stone. Inscribed: ntr nfr (M3-k3-R’) Imn m dsr dsrw R’mry – “the good god, Makare, beloved of Amun-Re in the Holy of Holies (Deir el-Bahri temple)”.
